WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
History of Acupuncture Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine, that has been around for nearly 3000 years. It consists of very fine, sterile needles being placed into different areas of the body, depending on your symptoms.
Today, traditional acupuncture is practised all around the world and clinical trials are now confirming its efficacy. More and more people are able to benefit as traditional acupuncture becomes a recognised option within standard healthcare.
WHAT’S THE CONSULTATION PROCESS?
In the first session, I will go through an in-depth consultation and tongue diagnosis with you, to find out what’s going on in your system. Once I have all of the information I need, I will carry out your acupuncture treatment.
Most conditions will need a course of weekly treatments, the amount will depend on you, how long you have been suffering with the problem and how quickly your body responds to the treatment.
