START WITH A THOUGHT PROVOKING DOCUMENTARY
To start you will watch the ‘Why We Wander’ Documentary where you will follow Stephen on his eventful journey through life. Growing up as a young boy trying to understand who he is in a working class area of the North East, serving in the British Army, navigating through a broken marriage, travelling the world & deciphering what he learned about himself from all of his experiences.
OPENING UP WITH OONAGH
The documentary is only a quick snapshot of what he encountered along the way. Oonagh Atkinson a well know counsellor who runs the Roads Centre in Chester Le Street will ask probing questions to draw out a deeper account of what was going on in Stephens Mind during key moments of his life.
It is not a staged chat so the questions and responses will be coming from a pure, transparent place. Stephen hopes by opening up fully about his past that it will encourage others to speak freely about their own troubles & see how sticking points in our lives are actually a gateway for self-growth.
