Let’s debunk some misconceptions about meditation. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to be a monk, sit in a specific position, or have any spiritual inclinations to practice meditation. In fact, meditation can be embraced by anyone, anywhere. An example of this is the creator of this course, Stephen, who started his meditation journey whilst serving in the British military. He has gone on to teach this to SAS soldiers, Police & many other population groups.
Meditation is the practice of focusing your consciousness on a specific area, allowing you to create mental space and slow down your thoughts. By becoming an observer of your thoughts, you regain control over your own life. It’s worth noting that meditation is not limited to specific groups; athletes, business professionals, parents, children, and individuals from all walks of life have embraced meditation, with numerous studies supporting its positive effects on the general population.
