I saw the GNR programme and signed up immediately, after speaking to Stephen I was confident and ready to get my head down. The programme and support provided has given me a totally new lease of life and a completely different attitude towards running which I never ever thought I’d ever say (I’m even considering participating in other running events now). HALF TO FULL MARATHON IN 5 MONTHS

Stephen was recommended to me through my mum as a coach with masses of experience with marathon running. His advice, guidance and detailed training plan helped me to achieve my goal of completing the London marathon and my secondary target of a sub 4 hour time which I could not be happier about. When I first signed up to the marathon to complete a long held dream, I was a relatively regular runner but only up to half marathon distance. I thought marathon training would just be a bit more running but was obviously very wrong! Stephen guided me through strength training, various different pacing runs, and also ignited a love for yoga which I have never previously enjoyed and which definitely helped prepare me mentally and physically. He tweaked plans throughout and taught me to listen to my body rather than just pushing through and seemed to really care about how I was doing. I would not hesitate to recommend him!
